Best antidepressant that doesn’t have sexual side effects?
Having trouble with anxiety and depression and need to go back on an anti-depressant. I’ve tried Prozac and Zoloft and they both killed my libido. I couldn’t tolerate wellbutrin. Also I am male.
I also tried Effexor a short time but remember that it had quite a few side effects and Sexual side effects as well
None.
I would recommend you to watch following DVD that is available online if you have fast internet. It’s told by psychiatrists, psychologists and people who worked for pharmaceutical companies. It informs you - beside other things - about side effects that are not often being told by psychiatrists. It also suggests an alternative in the end. When you then make a decision to take antidepressants, you may be better prepared, educated and understand what’s going on when you encounter some bad side effects. I would say that these information are actually vital.
The link sounds a little scary - that’s because many antidepressants have suicidal thoughts and impulses as side effects which you can also read inside the pack of some antidepressants.

I had the same problems with those also. I went on Lexapro and it works GREAT! It worked well on the depression and little to no side effects. It is a great pill. Of course they all effect everyone differently, try it and good luck.

I’m looking for one myself, I personally use Lexapro but I still have problems, maintaining erections, and general libido. I’ve been using Lexapro for about 9 years now. I’ve asked the doctor to switch my anti’s but he doesn’t think it has anything to do with them. Just a performance fear is what I think I have.

You could try viagra but I will tell ya what, that stuff sucks. The side effects are terrible. Have you ever tried a sexual enhancer? I was in your situation, like I said, viagra was tried but it wasn’t for me considering the side effects overwhelm the pleasures of it. I found this natural herbal enhancer and figured what the heck, if it’s natural it must be great and plus it said no side effects. I tried it and after about two days of taking it I was just horny like a mad man. All the time, I have erections that want to stand straight up and the orgasms are to die for. The stuff was called vigrx plus and I saved on it at the time at hughs-reviews.com , You should check it out. I love the fact it’s made from a researched blend of herbs that seem to do the trick for me atleast.
Good luck and I hope this helps.
