Betty Henderson on The Alex Jones Show - “Antidepressants are depressing stuff” 3of4
06/09/2009
Betty Henderson is the webmaster of SSRI Stories: Antidepressant Nightmares, a site that documents the adverse side effects of antidepressants.
We westerners have been turned into a childish culture where you’re supposed to run away from sadness and melancholy, or anything else that is “negative”. Basically, everything that actually makes you question yourself or the world, and grow as a person.
And that’s where most people get hooked on SSRI drugs. Everybody knows the drill: «hey doc, I’m feeling sad and bummed down», «well ok, here’s some pills then» — and you never resolve what’s making you sad and bummed down, never growing from that experience. What’s more, you get very much poisoned by the pills, and possibly hooked on the substance. Nice trade-off huh?
If you’re depressed, do yourself a favor. Before getting into these soma-meds, get some real therapy, if you need it, and most of all get some exercise, good nutrition, natural substances, and a resilient grown-up attitude about life. That’ll fix most of your problems on the spot.

(Going off on a tangent, read this MSNBC article, where they tell you how the biggest thing right now is to have troops going delusional and psychotic on pills. One of many articles about how US and NATO troops are being engineered to run constantly on mind-altering drugs. Just as Aldous Huxley would have had it. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/30748260/)
