Sam-E - Natural Antidepressant - Does it decompose?
I wanted to purchase 5 bottles of Sam-E online because the shipping is the same (18 dollars) for 1 bottle or 20 bottles but I read that the active ingredients in Sam-E will decompose over time… is this the case? It is about a 3-4 month supply worth.
Jarrows Formula - Enteric Coating / Blisterpack 400 MGs is the brand.

If you are only purchasing 5 bottles, you don’t have to worry, generally the expiration dates are 2-3 years out, and studies have shown that the supplement will remain potent for up to 6 months past the expiration date.

My company’s Sam-E has a shelf life of 2 years.They do suggest that you take it with folic acid and Vitamin B12. They also caution you not to take this if you are bipolar or on other antidepressants.
